One Special Day You Probably Don’t Need

Sorry I haven’t posted anything lately, but I have been traveling.  (I ran the Boston Marathon on April 17, 2017, but that’s another very long story.)

But while listening to podcast on the drive back from Boston, I heard of a special day I never would’ve thought necessary.  It’s called Email Debt Forgiveness Day.

Have you ever received an email and meant to reply, but somehow never did?  This day is your recovery plan!  April 30 has been designated the one day you can answer all your old emails without apologies or explanations.  Simply include a link to the official “Email Debt Forgiveness Day” website — http://emaildebtforgiveness.me/ — and (hopefully) you will be forgiven.

Will this idea catch on?  Personally, I’ve never considered this a major problem, but I can see an upside.  How many marriages would be saved with an “Anniversary Debt Forgiveness Day”?

I’ll keep you informed.
