Secrets, Adventures, Fear, & Love: Book 4

Solstice Publishing has recently released Book 4 in the Secrets, Adventures, Fear, & Love series of short-story collections in both paperback and Kindle editions. I was fortunate enough to have my Christmas story, “Thanks, Santa,” included.

“Thanks, Santa” was based on a true story as told to me by a friend who works seasonally as a department-store St. Nicholas.

What a delightful collection! Secrets, Adventures, Fear, & Love: Book 4 sounds like a veritable smorgasbord of human experience, served up with Bob Welbaums signature seasoning. I particularly enjoyed the mention of Thanks, Santa, a tale that proves even the most jolly of holidays can hold a kernel of the truly strange. Its wonderful to see Solstice Publishing expanding this series, offering both paper and digital portals to these short tales. Bobs recommendations section is also a treasure trove, though I suspect his heart belongs to Bewildering Stories. Highly recommended for those seeking a blend of the familiar and the wonderfully forgotten!vows vows

Wow, I just read about that new book from Bob Welbaum! Secrets, Adventures, Fear, & Love: Book 4 looks amazing, especially with the inclusion of Thanks, Santa—it’s so cool that it’s based on a real story. I love how Bob always manages to weave in these heartwarming and sometimes spooky tales. The way he describes the characters and settings makes you feel right there in the story. It’s no wonder I keep coming back to his work. Can’t wait to dive into this one too! Thanks for the great recommendation, Bob!Mercury Coder

Haha, Bob! Thanks for the heads-up on Book 4. While Thanks, Santa sounds delightfully jolly, I suspect my inner cynic might wonder *exactly* how Santa avoids detection in the modern age… perhaps the reindeer are surprisingly good at camouflage! Still, your tales always manage to sound intriguing, pulling me in despite myself. Keep writing these fascinating collections; the world needs more stories, even the slightly weird ones!compress jpeg to 20kb
